  • We are 90% done with the EVM bloom bit index optimization.
  • We are 85% done with the high ledger memory usage optimization.
  • We are 80% done with the optimization of ONT staking liquidity.

It was all hands on deck this month with a string of news reports and developments:

  • Humpty Calderon recently joined Tech Talks Daily, talking about Ontology’s unique approach to addressing blockchain challenges and the exciting potential for content creators to take control of their work!


  • Humpty Calderon joined a discussion on Oracles and Self-Sovereign Identity, hosted by UMA Protocol.


  • Geoff attended a TwitterSpace AMA with Getblock, sharing valuable information about Ontology and its potential use cases.


  • OKX Wallet now supports the Ontology Bridge! This collaboration makes it even easier to participate in the Ontology #EVM, ensuring a seamless experience. We’re committed to making Web3 as smooth as possible.


  • We celebrated our integration with iZUMi! They now support assets on the Ontology EVM, paving the way for improved liquidity and a smoother experience. We made a detailed guide on using iZUMI to swap ONG into ONT.


  • We held a TwitterSpace chat with Gameta. Discover the future of GameFi, and the power of DID in onboarding millions to Web3.


  • We held a TwitterSpace to delve into iZUMIi ‘s iZiSwap support , exploring the expanding possibilities of DeFi on Ontology.


  • Loyal member Sasen and Furst joined the AMA with Crypto Wallet on behalf of Ontology, discussing the ecosystem of Ontology and how ONT ID empowers the Web3 world.


  • On May 25th, we held a Twitter Space and delved into Optimistic Roll Ups and their application in the Web3 space with other leading figures — MetisDAO, Mantle, and Goshen.


  • Geoff attended the AMA on Alchemy Pay Discord and delved deeper into the world of Ontology.


  • Our community on CoinMarketCap just hit the 30K mark! Thanks to each and every one of you for your support and engagement.


  • Continuing our ‘Meet the Team’ series, we’re very pleased to ask several team members and Ontology Harbingers a few questions.


Product Development

  • ONTO has launched a campaign together with Ivy, Zealy, and SWFT.


  • ONTO launched a giveaway event with Signtn on Galxe.


  • ONTO accepted Near’s invitation and joined a voice AMA in Near’s Discord.


  • ONTO invited the CSO of Dreamix to join a DIscord AMA.


  • ONTO accepted the invitation from FIO and joined a Twitter Space talking about Bitcoin Pizza Day.
  • ONTO has published an article about Crypto wallets.


  • ONTO has published an article about DID in crypto wallets.

  • ONTO has launched a Community Quiz campaign with Hamster.


  • ONTO has launched partnerships with Umi’s Friend, SWFT, BIBI, Manta Network and SightN.

On-Chain Activity

  • 164 total dApps on MainNet as of May 31st, 2023.
  • 7,565,981 total dApp-related transactions on MainNet, an increase of 66,250 from last month.
  • 18,732,429 total transactions on MainNet, an increase of 106,577 from last month.

Community Growth & Bounties

  • This month, several Ontology Community Calls and discussions were held on Discord, Telegram and Twitter, focusing on topics such as “How Web3 intersects people’s daily life”, “Bitcoin Miami Conference” and “The purpose of various layers of protocols”. Community members actively shared their views, and participants also got the chance to win Loyal Member NFTs.
  • We held our Monthly Quiz led by Ontology Harbinger Benny. Community members actively raised questions and shared 100 ONG rewards.
  • Our Philippines community held a Chess Tournament and members actively engaged.
