What an active August we’ve had! Ontology is on a growth trajectory, introducing an enhanced loyalty program and making our mark across the Web3 space.

Development/Corporate Updates

Development Milestones

• Layer 2 Sequencer: We’ve reached 96% completion.
• ONT Liquid Staking: Contract development is 85% done, and the frontend is at 70%.
• Software Updates: Launched Ontology v2.4.4 and updated our signature service documentation.

Events and Partnerships

• Joined hands with UQUID for a memorable Qixi Festival celebration.

• Held a compelling Twitter Space with Galactica focusing on Friend.tech and SocialFi.

• Collaborated with Gotbit Hedge Fund to unpack Web3.

• Boosted our presence in Japan via our inaugural listing on Binance Japan.

• Also partnered with ChangeHero to introduce Ontology to a wider audience.

ONTO Wallet Developments

• ONTO published monthly report for July.

• Released the ONTO V4.5.4 update, featuring Base mainnet integration and WalletConnect V2.0 support.

• New partnerships include Chiliz, InnoTech Labs, and many more.

• Introduction to Multilingual and Points Features in ONTO

• ONTO partnered with Scroll.

• ONTO has launched partnerships with bloXroute Labs

• Rolled out Web Wallet V0.9.6, now supporting 15 chains.

• ONTO Wallet Release Article: In-depth Explanation of Built-in Features, including Staking, Swap, and Node.

• Introduction to the Details of the ONG Reward Activity for Inviting New Users

• ONTO holds a puzzle event.

On-Chain Metrics

• 164 total dApps on MainNet as of August 24, 2023.
• 7,678,405 total dApp transactions, up by 9,165 from last month.
• 18,955,232 total MainNet transactions, increasing by 34,412.

Community Engagement

• Hosted various community calls on Discord, Telegram, and Twitter, exploring topics like “WorldCoin,” “Proof of Personhood,” and “Loyalty Programs."
• Awarded Loyal Member NFTs to active community participants during our first-ever Discord community call.
