{"id":964,"date":"2026-09-02T07:28:08","date_gmt":"2026-09-02T07:28:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ont.io\/news\/?p=964"},"modified":"2026-09-02T07:28:11","modified_gmt":"2026-09-02T07:28:11","slug":"ontology-mainnet-has-resumed-sync-nodes-required-to-upgrade-to-v3-1-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ont.io\/news\/ontology-mainnet-has-resumed-sync-nodes-required-to-upgrade-to-v3-1-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Ontology Mainnet Has Resumed \u2014 Sync Nodes Required to Upgrade to v3.1.5"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>September 2, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dear Ontology Community,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are pleased to announce that the <strong>Ontology Mainnet has successfully resumed normal operation<\/strong> following the completion of the required security review and network upgrade procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of this network upgrade, <strong>all Sync Nodes are required to upgrade to v3.1.5 as soon as possible<\/strong> to ensure network compatibility and smooth synchronization following the restoration of the Mainnet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Action Required for Sync Nodes<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All Sync Node operators are strongly advised to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Upgrade their nodes to <strong>Ontology v3.1.5 ASAP<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow the official upgrade instructions carefully;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure their nodes are fully synchronized with the Mainnet;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify that their nodes are operating normally after the upgrade.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please refer to the official <strong>v3.1.5 release notes and upgrade instructions<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ontio\/ontology\/releases\/tag\/v3.1.5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/github.com\/ontio\/ontology\/releases\/tag\/v3.1.5<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We strongly recommend that all Sync Node operators complete the upgrade <strong>as soon as possible<\/strong> to maintain compatibility with the restored network and ensure stable and uninterrupted synchronization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Continued Security Monitoring<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although the Mainnet has now resumed, the Ontology team will continue to closely monitor network security, stability, and performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our security review and monitoring efforts will also continue in coordination with relevant technical and security partners to ensure the long-term security and reliability of the Ontology network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you to all validators, node operators, ecosystem partners, and community members for your patience and cooperation throughout the emergency pause and upgrade process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have any questions, please contact us or our community admins through the official channels.<br><br>Thank you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ontology Network<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>September 2, 2026 Dear Ontology Community, We are pleased to announce that the Ontology Mainnet has successfully resumed normal operation following the completion of the required security review and network upgrade procedures.
